The Blyth Academy, Northern Education Trust, are seeking to appoint a Language Support Assistant to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed MFL learning activities under an agreed system of supervision, for all students, including those who need particular help in overcoming barriers to learning. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering MFL learning activities for individuals/groups or whole classes. This will include monitoring students and assessing, recording and reporting on achievement, progress and development.

The successful candidate will have

  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent (including English and Maths)
  • Willingness and the ability to obtain and or enhance qualifications and training for development in the post,
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and training and experience of working in a school.
