Job Details: Teaching Assistant

Salary: NJC 8 - 12 (£20,852 - £22,571) FTE salary to be pro rata (Subject to job evaluation)

Contract: Term Time Only (39 weeks a year)

Term: Permanent

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant. To support with interventions for students who require additional mentoring to achieve GCSE. To promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with special needs under the direction of the class teacher/Inclusion Manager.

The successful candidate will have 5 GCSE's or equivalent (including English and Maths), Degree or equivalent, willingness and the ability to obtain and or enhance qualifications and training for development in the post, evidence of continuous professional development and training and experience of working in a school.
